Sara – Carnaval [CS]

"Recorded at Brisas del mar, Canelones, Uruguay between 1 . 3 . 2025 - 3 . 3 . 2025, during carnival holidays.Four field recordings (´15 min each) were made during the carnival '25 , between the wind and the water, far away from the loud voices, near the future. These four tracks try to explore the sensitive way of listening and a path through the memory.

This is his first album of the year signed as a soloist, during the lasts months edited a duo with Dani Umpi, another one with Yan Jun, also the bands los mariachis de la fosa and superneurocirujanojapones.

Sara is a sound artist, musician and producer from Montevideo, Uruguay, who is always exploring new territories, rhythms, languages and textures. usually uses tape loops, feedbacks as a way to call the sounds, like to move from strident sounds to the quiet ones. also works as a producer , recording bands from the uruguayan scene since 2012, nowadays working in the rehearsal space, studio and record label, Tatami Registros"
